A plea for more volunteers to assist during Heritage Open Days from the 6th September through to the 14th. Those wishing to help are required to show visitors around the Shrine and provide refreshments. Those who can assist are requested to make contact by e-mail, click here.
A job opportunity has been announced: A Full-time Project Coordinator to help with the second phase of Heritage Lottery Funding (HLF) is required.

The Institute's new apostolate in Preston at St Walburge's Church takes a further step forward on Saturday 27th September.
At Noon, High Mass will be celebrated by Monsignor Gilles Wach, Prior General of the Institute of Christ the King Sovereign Priest, in the presence of the Right Rev. Michael Campbell, Bishop of Lancaster. The seminarians of the Institute's Mother House at Gricigliano in Italy will provide Gregorian chant. After Mass there are refreshments in the hall next to the church.
There is a coach from the Wirral. This leaves the Dome of Home at 0930 and those wishing to travel via this method should contact Ronnie on 0151 630 3965 to discuss the fare and availability.
