Having been the long-standing senior manager of St Paul’s Bookshop and having had responsibility for the shop next to Westminster Cathedral, he grew the business by the establishment of four new branches around the country. Importantly, Stephen is enthusiastic about the Traditional Mass.
Stephen replaces Mike Lord who announced his intention to stand down after four years of service to the Society.
I would like to place on record my thanks to Mike, who in many tenacious telephone calls eventually convinced me to become the Local Representative for Wrexham Diocese.
The Society has taken steps in the right direction under Mike’s stewardship and Stephen has a solid foundation from which to start from.
The Society Committee has also decided to engage a part time Press and Publicity Officer.
With a remit to promote our events and our point of view, Clare Stevens has been engaged to undertake this new role established in our 50th Anniversary year. Clare has many years experience as a Press Officer in the public sector.
